If you motivate a student it will work. But, maybe not work for long-term. So, in this situation, you will keep motivating them. Until they know the potentiality inside them and how easy to become a topper.

Here, you can be more acceptable to them if you are friendly, helpful and accompany with them. So, if you can blend with, sure you will motivate high school students more effectively.

Unmotivated students are generally lazy or love to do something else. It happens when they have a lake of confidence in themselves.

This happens because of previous academic results or unusual competition. And they are likely misjudged by someone or themselves. Every student can’t is a topper.

Another common region is they have a negative idea about the life. It happens; people think that lazy people always have their own excuse. But do you agree with them?

Hope is a great thing to have. Not every dream is achievable. Reality is not that hard as this teenagers think of. 

Here, you will find two types of students. First, one is lazy and the second does not care type. Always keep this in mind, despite the type there is something common, both of them want to be successful. They process dreams and wishes dream come true.

So, you must focus on the goal to inspire them for hard work. It will be easy if you become more acceptable to them.

  1. Provide control over them: It is simply imaginable about the consequence. So, if you don’t let them choose to talk to you your conversation will not be effective. 
  2. Ensure a helpful and friendly manner: Because this is not something you like to happen, not mean that you to be rude or angry.
  3. Understand their body language: Don’t let them feel negative, afraid or ashamed. Here, you have to measure their body language to read their situation. Like: when they are focused on conversation, it means they may value your opinion. 
  4. Let them speak: Always listen to their problems and demands. I.e. ask them about their hobby, friends and what they think about this school or you.
  5. Tell them about the future of the path: Obviously in a cool manner like “why to study hard”.
  6. Inspire them in social life: School is not everything and students spend a lot of time with family and friends.
  7. Find out the things they like or enjoy: If it turns out they love football, let him part of the football team as a supporter, manager, cheerleader, creating banners etc. And, be creative when you assign a role for them.  
  8. Use positive words: Negative words do not work for high scholars. 
  9. Encourage self-reflection: Self-help is the best help. They wanted to succeed so it’s easy.
  10. Mention that the study is not hard or boring: Most of the case we failed to realizes these things. Maybe it’s time to reconsider. If you can apprehend that this is not hard or boring, this motivation will be easier.
  11. Observe Companions: If nothing is working, observe the group he/she used to hang out. And, maybe the whole group needs your concentration. 
  12. Back them & give new chance: The age is not perfect to understand, turning the blame on him/her will not solve anything.
